Scripture for the Day Nov 11th 2020: Democracy is Evil

Matthew 12:28
“But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.” 

The word 'Democracy' should be a cuss-word. 

In my book, it is. Notable thinkers, masters of philosophy, political figures, but most importantly, Jesus warned us about the tyranny of democracy, It is no accident that the domestic enemy number 1 calls itself Democrat. It is also no accident, that the pundits in the media, and most annoyingly elected Republicans, talk about how wonderful democracy is and how democracy needs to be saved. 

Oh, how foolish! The moment someone says this, from Pelosi, to, yes, even Tucker, I can no longer trust them, because they have either not done their homework, or they are deliberately deceptive. We, the People doesn't mean we live in a Democratic Republic. Communist East Germany, its name was German Democratic Republic. I could rest my case here. 

But the United States is a Constitutional Republic. Although our representatives (not leaders) are elected by the peoples' vote, there are still checks and balances that prevent a takeover by tyrannical despots. As for the Presidential elections, it's not democracy either. The Electoral College protects us from being ruled by the mob in enemy-occupied regions. No wonder the Democrats want the Electoral College gone. No wonder they claim the Constitution is outdated. Domestic enemy number 1. The U.S. system is cemented in a set of rules, the Constitution, which stands as the Supreme Rule of Law, much like God's kingdom on earth rests on the 10 Commandments. No wonder the enemies of God want to remove the 10 commandments from public and private life.

God's Warning About Human Government Tyranny

God’s people had a king: God. But they wanted to be ruled by man, like the pagan nations. The Prophet Samuel warned the people that kings would “take” their sons for their armies, “take” their daughters for cooks and bakers, “take” the best of their fields, “take” a tenth of their seed and their vineyards, “take” their best young men, “take” a tenth of their flock. Eventually, he prophesied, “you yourselves will become his servants” (1 Sam. 8:10-17). Samuel predicted that the king would take so much that “you will cry out in that day because of the king whom you have chosen for yourselves” (1 Sam. 8:18). 

 God never meant for man to rule us. He is the King. Jesus is King! 

Genesis 1:26, 28
26] “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”

28] “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” 

Where does it say to subdue the people?

Let's bow our hearts and pray:

LORD, glory and praise be to You. 
To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul.
Father, Genesis 1:26 and 28 commanded us to subdue the world, not the people. Democracy is evil. Anyone who wants to save democracy wants to perpetuate evil.
LORD, Let us be governed by the set of rules we call the Constitution as long as it remains godly. Better yet, let everyone be governed by Your 10-Commandments. Let our political representatives defend the Constitution and our Christianity against all enemies, foreign and domestic until Your Son Jesus returns to rule with an iron rod. 

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. 
Thy kingdom come. 
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 
Give us this day our daily bread, 
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, 
and lead us not into temptation, 
but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever.
