Scripture for the Day Dec 4th 2020: Shaken AND Stirred?

A Chrisitan friend commented recently in MAGA chat saying,
"It's a war. Even social media platforms like Parler that people wanted to escape to are questionable. They set up the concept of a "honeypot" for Communists, where they corral all the liberals into their version of an echo chamber, but they put in antisemitic stuff sect to make it a really dark place and counter the belief in free speech. They have studied psychology and have no power in the real world, but the dystopia they created online is very real and influences the real world to an extent. How far, who knows?"

She is right. They are clever. Their spirit dwells in the nether regions of darkness from where they bring prophecies of gloom and death. Even Newsmax is loading their guest appearances with figures that speak as if criminal biden has been lawfully elected and would take office on January 20th. It is disgusting! Oh, how long do we have to suffer these unbelievers?

Matthew 17:17
And Jesus answered and said, "You unbelieving and perverted generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him here to Me."

Have you learned nothing from God? Are you continuing to believe man rather than the LORD? Are you so insecure and unbelieving that you have to check and believe every headline that crosses the wire? Where is your faith? Where is your trust in God? How does this honor God?

You are scanning the headlines as the news junkie you have become! Have you even TRIED reading the Word of God? Are you starting your day with Proverbs? Are you thanking God for Who He is throughout the day? Are you grateful for what He is already doing on behalf of America? Are you praying for justice or are you being preyed upon by satan and his minions? It is your choice. How can God honor you if you don't honor Him?

If you don't read anything else Godly today, please pray this verse from the King James and the TPW:

2 Thessalonians 2:2
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

The Pure Word puts it like this (yes, I got my copy today, it's 50% off this week)
2 That you be not made rapidly shaken,
neither of mind, nor frightened,
nor by Spirit, not by Word,
nor through Epistle as by us,
as that the Day of Christ is now present.

Are you MADE rapidly shaken, frightened by Spirit and by Word, by Epistles (news stories)?

You know what you can do about it.  A friend can lead you to the water. But he can't make you drink from the Spring of Life.

Choices can be difficult. But I have the peace that goes beyond all human understanding. It guards my heart. I pray that it will do the same for you!

In Jesus' name,
Amen

BIDEN’S FOLLYTHE LAW OF UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCESWhat it Means to Eliminate the Oil Industry Among Other ThingsBy E.P. Unum I wrote this essay back in the summer of 2020. Now that Joe Biden is President, it bears repeating because much of what feared has, sadly, already taken place. Many Democrats and Liberals like to shout and scream about how we all need to become more climate-conscious. They like to march down streets and wave their placards and makeshift flags about the need to eliminate fracking and do away with fossil fuels. Make no mistake, the self-anointed leader of the Democratic Party, Joe Biden promised during his Presidential campaign that he would not "do away with fracking or oi
