Scripture for the Day Dec 18th 2020: Their Treason is Vanity

Yesterday's devotional featured Psalms 2, where the three Persons of God had an executive meeting among themselves. We looked at WHO was speaking to WHOM. That's awesome. Patriot Sunshine State won the Puzzle Challenge. Congratulations! But WHAT is it the Holy Spirit, the Father, and Jesus are talking about? They are analyzing a type of Democrat, enemies of God. The unrighteous. The plotters. The scoffers and the schemers. 

Vanity, O Vanity 

Let's have a second look at this precious Scripture:

Psalms 2 (NASB)

1 Why are the nations restless And the peoples plotting in vain?
2 The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers conspire together Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
3 “Let’s tear their shackles apart And throw their ropes away from us!”

4 He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them.
5 Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying,
6 “But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”

7 “I will announce the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have fathered You.
8 Ask it of Me, and I will certainly give the nations as Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth as Your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.’”

10 Now then, you kings, use insight; Let yourselves be instructed, you judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with reverence And rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, that He not be angry and you perish on the way, For His wrath may be kindled quickly. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!

What a sad affair. What a fruitless undertaking. What a waste the democrats and their master are. Parasites worse than the China plague.

Nations are restless. The global cabal is shaking in its boots. The UN, the EU, China, the Commonwealth states, the communists, the deep staters; Righteousness threatens their very existence. For them, it's all or nothing. They're fighting for their worthless existence. I am as angry as I can be that Senator Mitch McConnell congratulated a proven criminal to his steal - thus accepting, on behalf of his voters, the unlawful outcome. Who does this traitor think he is? He is a spineless disgrace, a rotten stain on the fabric of this Republic, for he has submitted to the enemy, bowed to evil, broken his oath. Newsmax is no better. With two exceptions, all 'journalists' over there are calling criminal biden "president elect". What a sham. What treason. What disgrace. 

Proverbs 4:18 

But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn
That shines brighter and brighter until the full day.

Let's look at Psalms 2 again. V 4: He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them. V 5: Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying, "But as for Me, I have installed My Kink Upon Zion, My holy mountain."  V 9: "You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware,".   

Do these people, those who betray their oath to the Constitution of the United States, and those sitting on the sidelines abroad, salivating at the juice meal they seek to devour, not realize they are plotting in vain? But there is ONE CONDITION, though. Jesus quoting the Father, in verse 8: "Ask it of Me, and I will certainly give the nations as Your inheritance." The same applies to us, ASK the LORD, PRAY as if your life depends on it. Without your prayer, without your dedication, without your commitment to the Lord, God will not move. 

PRAY as if your life and that of our children depends on it because it does.
