Scripture for the Day Jan 4th 2021: And Be Not Conformed to This World

Non-Christians of all people claim to know what a Christian should think, how they should behave and react in certain situations. The lost don't know the Word of God, His will, and who He wants us to be. They pick Scripture out of context saying: this is what a Christian should be like. How many times has a lost person accused me of not being a Christian because I didn't conform to their worldly idea of Christianity! Have I failed to BE that light for them? Perhaps. But more often than not, it's not bowing to the ungodly demands. And when you don't do as the enemy says, the ungodly will spread lies and slander.

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Everywhere I turn, even in churches, people conform to the world. They believe the enemy; they worship their institutions; they bow to their usurped authority. They relish being slaves to evil. Go ahead, betray your children, your country, and spit on the sacrifice of those who have lost their lives for your liberty. You don't deserve better. We, the Christian patriots, won't submit to the UN, to China, to biden, to the democrats, or to republican traitors who sold out their country for dishonorable reasons. Have you not signed your death warrant before God already? I can never understand how these people can live with themselves. Perhaps their conscience is so far gone, their is no way back. But that's between them and their Maker.

Not to conform to this world means not to accept the precepts and the lies the enemy feeds us. People are so dumbed down, it angers me, because they cheerfully spread their ignorance to others, their kids for example. They hail the nefarious UN as some benevolent body. With a little research, even a 10-year-old could find out facts to the contrary in less than an hour. Yet, they get angry when you point out the truth. Fools cannot be taught truth, they will reject it. I will try once and then walk away. Have it your way and perish in your ignorance. You won't take me with you, though.

Butterfly

In a children’s church service, a seminary student spoke on the Christian’s walk. He presented his message in the first person, or—more accurately expressed—“the first butterfly.” His dramatic monologue incorporated the following guise: two large antennas with sensors attached to the ends, halved eggshells for his nose and eyes, a bright orange suit, and beautifully knitted wings. He proceeded to tell his story as a butterfly who was describing his former state and lifestyle as a caterpillar. Obviously, he could no longer live as a caterpillar, since his state had been drastically changed.

The message was pointedly driven home. Just as he could no longer live as a caterpillar once he had become a butterfly, so we can no longer live as unbelievers once we have become believers.142

An Old House

Soon after a family moved into their new house, it began to show the effects of their slipshod lifestyle. The yard was littered with trash. The lawn withered for lack of care, and, even when replanted, died out again. To enter this house was to enter a shambles. It never was clean or in order.

Another family eventually bought the house and moved in. They painted the house, cleaned up the yard, and replanted the lawn. The results were completely different. What had happened? There was a dramatic improvement in the appearance of the house because there was a change in those who lived in that house.

In the same way, it is impossible that there not be a change in a person’s life once he or she becomes a Christian—because there is a perfect new resident within: the Holy Spirit.143

It is my prayer that you, dear brothers and sisters, will never conform to the wiles of the devil, that you stand your ground in the service of God, that you will stay strong in the face of adversity, that you grow in your faith. You will have saved your soul.

1 John 2:15
Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

In Jesus' name
Amen

BIDEN’S FOLLYTHE LAW OF UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCESWhat it Means to Eliminate the Oil Industry Among Other ThingsBy E.P. Unum I wrote this essay back in the summer of 2020. Now that Joe Biden is President, it bears repeating because much of what feared has, sadly, already taken place. Many Democrats and Liberals like to shout and scream about how we all need to become more climate-conscious. They like to march down streets and wave their placards and makeshift flags about the need to eliminate fracking and do away with fossil fuels. Make no mistake, the self-anointed leader of the Democratic Party, Joe Biden promised during his Presidential campaign that he would not "do away with fracking or oi
