Trump and Hutchinson
Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), the vice chairwoman of the committee, said at Tuesday's hearing that two witnesses reported possible attempts from Trumpworld to intimidate them before testifying. Cheney did not name the witnesses, but according to the report, Hutchinson is one of those witnesses.
Cheney shared examples during Tuesday's hearing of answers the committee received from two witnesses related to questions by the committee on witness tampering.

On the debate stage featuring Cheney and her four primary opponents in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the political scion, who has come under fire from her GOP colleagues for her criticisms of former President Donald Trump and participation in the Jan. 6 committee, defended her participation in the panel investigating the riot at the Capitol, calling on Hageman to state whether she believes the election was stolen. Cheney noted that Hageman’s political adviser Bill Stepien, who previously worked on the Trump campaign, testified before the panel investigating the riot that he doesn’t believe there was widespread fraud.
